Our philosophy

A close group of kindergarten girls in SIWS sports uniform with red headbands, arms around each other, smiling.

At SIWS School, we believe sport is an integral part of education, not an add-on. Guided by the motto “Healthy Body, Healthy Mind”, we use sport to build discipline, teamwork, leadership and resilience in every student.

We follow a “Sports for All” policy: every child plays. Today more than 85% of students from Std 1 to 10 take part in sports, and over 300 students train in our regular after-school coaching programme.

Sports we offer

Students can choose from 15 sports, with regular coaching in 8 of them. Seven are coached 4 days a week after school, and Fencing is coached at the dedicated SIWS Fencing Center with the Elite Fencing Club.
